Teal and purple, what a fun, fresh color combination for little baby girls.

This little newbie is wearing a Lilypad and Meatball custom handmade headband with a decorative Lilypad and Meatball teal ribbon mobile to accent our scene.

I was lucky on this this hand shot, not have to photoshop anything together. A lot of feedings made for a very sleepy baby girl.

We then took her for an outdoor stroll to grab some airy field pictures.

As Mad as a Hatter while Frolicking

Another one of my favorite things, a Mad Hatter Hat! This tiny treasure was hand crafter by the amazing and talented Jasika Scruggs of Two Back Flats! See her Etsy shop Here! Each Mad Hatter Hat is uniquely made with love! Even the cards are hand drawn with a 10/6! This petite mini top hat is inspired by Disney's original Mad Hatter hat. Created from scratch using a stunning green satin with a turquoise sash that flows around the brim. Making this mini top hat a gorgeous spin on the classic!

My dear friend Alison Amato, literary guru and creative writer, enlitened me with the story of the Mad Hatters! So for your reading pleasure, Here is a little excerpt of the wikipedia version for you! ( I am not a creative writer )

"Although the name "Mad Hatter" was clearly done and inspired by the phrase "as mad as a hatter", there is some uncertainty as to the origins of this phrase. Mercury was used in the process of curing pelts used in some hats, making it impossible for hatters to avoid inhaling the mercury fumes given off during the hat making process; hatters and mill workers thus often suffered mercury poisoning, causing neurological damage, including confused speech and distorted vision. Hat making was the main trade in Stockport, near where Carroll grew up, and it was not unusual then for hatters to appear disturbed or confused; many died early as a result of mercury poisoning. However, the Hatter does not exhibit the symptoms of mercury poisoning, which include "excessive timidity, diffidence, increasing shyness, loss of self-confidence, anxiety, and a desire to remain unobserved and unobtrusive."[1] The Hatter and the March Hare are initially referred to as "both mad" by the Cheshire Cat, and both first appear in the seventh chapter of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, which is titled "A Mad Tea-Party"."

The card or label on the Hatter's hat reads "In this style 10/6", which refers to 10 shillings and six pence (or a half guinea), the price of the hat in pre-decimalized British money. The figure acts as a visual indication of the hatter's trade.

This was probably one of my most favorite photo shoots with London, I felt like Marie Antoinette ( Kirsten Dunst ) when she was sitting in the grass field with her daughter soaking in the beauty of the day. All I needed was a lamb and her cottage! :)

This Vintage Inspired hat was created by the amazing Ameliejo! This fabulous designer was featured in Altered Couture Magazine Spring 2011. Take a look at her Esty shop! So pretty and unique, this cotton hat has been tea stained and embellished with a handmade, muslin ruffle. A tea stained ribbon that has been hand stamped with "Mademoiselle" and "Paris" runs along the middle of the ruffle for an extra french flair. The signature, Amelie Jo white, hand crochet rose completes the look with an authentic, vintage black glass button. What's not to love!

I am hosting my first ever Shabby Boudoir session in the studio! Perfect for that special someone’s Easter Basket Accessory or a Groom-to-be’s gift!

The date is set for Sunday April 3rd, 2011. Time Slots.... 10:00, 10:50, 11:40, 12:30

Includes

The session will include 40 minutes of shooting time; the set design; veils, headbands, hats, feathers, garters, pearls, and necessary garnishes (unless you have something else in mind), false eyelashes; 8 fully edited high resolution photos on disk, $10 credit toward a print order. You provide your favorite outfit and the model ;).

Artistic Photography featured on the grounds of the cute and quaint Beaumont Pottery. If you love the look of brightly painted doors and rustic wood, this spot is a must to showcase your portraits! Mini sessions are 20-30 minutes and cost $75.00. You will be given 15 high res images on disk that you choose from your session. All images will be available to view on your online web gallery!
